Blumarine celebrates its first 40th anniversary with the volume ANNA MOLINARI, BLUMARINE, narrating the history of Anna Molinari and the Blumarine brand. Through a selection of images shot by charismatic photographers of the likes of Helmut Newton, Tim Walker and Craig McDean, fashion editor such as Manuela Pavesi and art director as M/M Paris, some keywords are analysed to extensively explain the elements of Blumarine’s style, edited by Maria Luisa Frisa. The book begins with The queen of roses, a biography of Anna Molinari written by Elena Loewenthal and closes with a chapter dedicated to those who wish to learn more about the history of Blumarine. Anna Molinari and Gianguido Tarabini celebrated the 40 years of Blumarine maison with a cocktail at Blumarine boutique of Via della Spiga 30 and an intimate dinner at Palazzo Trivulzio in Milan.

HIRE, SELECTION. THE SHOTS FOR BLUMARINE 1993 – 1999 From September 10 to December 11 the town of Carpi honours one of the greatest fashion photographers of all time with an exhibition showing shots never exhibited before in Italy. Two magical days in St. Petersburg for Blugirl, two intense days that have seen the success of designer Anna Molinari with an exclusive fashion show dedicated to the Venice of the North. The Blugirl Fall Winter 12016/2017 runway show has taken place on June 3rd at the Russian Museum of Ethnography, an early ‘900 impressive building beautifully decorated with marbles, bas-reliefs and columns, at the presence of important guests, buyers and journalists. Many were the appointments that involved Anna Molinari, among which the meeting with the Italian Consul in St. Petersburg, Leonardo Bencini, at the Hotel Astoria and the visit to the Fan Museum, the first and only one in Russia dedicated to this female accessory. "A wonderful city - said Anna Molinari, for the fourth time in St. Petersburg - very close to the Italian style, with eye-catching colors buildings, smiling and elegant people and a museum, the Hermitage, which is unparalleled in the world".

The designer Anna Molinari inaugurated on Saturday 19th the exhibition SAVOIR FAIRE (creativity, research, skills) within the Blumarine space at the Museum of the City of Pio Palace in Carpi. The stage design underlines spaces, gestures and images of the creative process that leads to the creation of a fashion item. Savoir faire comes from a photographic work by Gianluca Pergreffi for Blumarine in which the protagonists are the creativity, the fabrics, the yarns and especially the hands of those creating them. The images, the materials and work tools, including some original sketches of Blumarine’s collections, are on stage of the new exhibition space.

Anna Molinari inaugurates, with a cocktail, Blumarine historic boutique (56 Avenue Montaigne, Paris 8e ), renovated in occasion of Paris Fashion Week. The space of approximately 300m² is developed on two floors and display the clothing, shoes, eyewear and fragrance collections of the brand. This boutique is the first one to stand out from the other worldwide mono brand stores for the choice of the new concept, sought by the designer Anna Molinari, whose goal is to create a warm atmosphere and an intimate space, inspired by a revisited neoclassical style that pays tribute to the city of Paris.

Anastacia and Blumarine have collaborated to create a line for an exclusive eyewear collection. The American singer and songwriter chose Blumarine for her affinity to the brand and for her close friendship with designer Anna Molinari. Blumarine Eyewear by Anastacia capsule collection comprises of 3 styles of sunglasses and 2 optical frames, both offered in 2 colors, in modern shapes and embellished with precious rhinestone detailing. The special edition by Anastacia will be available in Blumarine boutiques and optical stores starting from April 2016.
